WATERFORT PTY LTD Tank Specifications A large range of sizes are available for various applications. The number of panels per tank and the height determines the size of tank. Height varies from 2 metres to 7 metres. Panel numbers from 6 – 20 panels. Main sizes are 145,000lt, 296,000lt, 426,000lt, 757,000lt, and 1,184,000lt. Typical specification for a 296,000lt tank is as follows: -

Wall Construction 40-mpa 180 mm thick reinforced tensioned concrete panel.
Floor Construction 180-200 mm 40-mpa reinforced concrete.
Footings 600 x 500 reinforced concrete ring beam below ground including suction area.
Lining Permanent Rhino “Tuff Stuff” Product of Rhino Coatings QLD.
Roof Zincalume roof with lockable 1000 x 900mm hatch. Suction 180mm Poly PN16 black pipe in ground through the floor of the tank with outside 600mm deep in ground pit and sluice valve with lockable grate located within 2 metres of the tank wall. Delivery from the sleuce valve by others.
Input A 600mm deep pit located within 2 metres of the tank wall with 150mm sluice valve and Barmag 400 series auto fill system. Inlet pipe 150mm PN16 black poly located on the inside of tank with an uprise up to 5.7 metres. Lockable grate cover over the pit Water feed of 150mm to the pit and auto feed by others.
Over Flow 150 mm poly fitted internal to a point not more than 2 metres from the tank wall. Location to be advised as will be approx 600mm below ground level.
Ladders Galvanized ladder fitted to external wall of the tank with restricted access facility. Access rings fitted to the inside of tank for emergency egress.
Gauge An external gauge fitted to the top of the tank providing reading of 290,000lt, 250,000lt, 200,000lt, 150,000lt, 100,000lt, and 50,000lts.
Price Price is carried out on a individual basis with consideration to distance from Geelong, soil types and site access
Lead time 65 days from receipt of order and deposit.
Payment 30% with order, 40% prior to delivery on site of concrete panels, balance of 30% on completion. No retention
Guarantee A 30 year guarantee is provided for the concrete structure and lining against leakage due to faulty workmanship, design or materials. The wall and base of the tank have a 4-hour fire rating. The zincalume roof has a 12-year guarantee against corrosion, depending on location. The guarantee is provided on the basis of normal wear and tear and maintenance program. |
